Lets Break Up!!

"I'm so sorry..I can't handle it anymore..lets break up.Its over!!".Seems too heard??Must be! Its a phenomenon  so rampant that a minimum of 2 people whom you know (Including your next door neighbour) would have 'broken up' with someone. And then there are some very skilled people who break up over and over ,again and again. Not to forget the movies which try to project the 'latest trends in society' screaming out loud saying its cool and you gotta give a party for that!!(courtesy..-LOVE AAJ KAL)
Not that I have any experience to speak of but still most of the times the reasons for this so called break up seem so trash!
"Who the hell told you that I was committed??Dude I broke up long ago because I found a much better looking girl!"
"What??You want to marry me??Oh no please..lets break up!!"

But some are pretty genuine..like cases where parents don't agree, your partners changing habits which leave you frustrated and so on.
What makes divorces different from break ups is the legal hassle. The rest..Heartaches,depression,hopelessness,anger etc remain the same. Some call it dumping.. like Humans are any piece of garbage. But whatever it is break ups seem like a recent trend. You are utopian if you haven't had a break up atleast once in life.

The reasons are innumerable! As humans we do make mistakes and making mistakes while choosing a person whom you want to spend your life with can be fatal. Some of us dust ourselves and move on while the rest can    take years together to come out of the trauma. It can jeopardies your other relationships, make you look like a moron and what not!
It is a very well known fact that we do like someone because of some chemicals that trigger in our brains. But after a while the production of this particular hormone stops!!So maybe we can blame it on biology?

But what shocks me is the numbers. And a lingering question..why didn't our previous generations do this??(So often I meant). Is it because we are an impatient generation and expect everything to be perfect in a relationship? Or is it because we can't compromise and let go of our views once in a while for the greater good??Or does it give any sense of satisfaction to do so???(for some).

What we need to learn is to not mistake infatuation for love and commit ourselves without thinking about complete future with that person. This might be difficult to do but is worth giving a try to save yourselves.
Also when the inevitable happens, we must learn to take it in our stride and force ourselves to see the truth as the way it is!

Anyway..Its your right to do it the way you think it  right.Advices are not meant to be taken!!
But a line of my own....Do ponder about what you want in life. After all nothing means its the end of your life until it is actually(physically).Commit Blunders in getting committed!!

Noetic Sciences

Most of you would have read Dan Brown's 'THE LOST SYMBOL".The book no doubt is as good as all Dan Brown's if not the best! But a particular topic that intrigued me was this-'The Noetic Sciences".At first it seemed unimaginable,a kind of fantasy but not bogus as he perfectly states that all the facts of his book are true!

To those who seem at a loss...take a look at this definition from wiki-
Noetic theory or noëtics (from Greek νοητικός "mental" from νοεῖν "to think" from νοῦς – noûs) is an alternative metaphysical philosophyconcerned with the study of mind and intuition, and its relationship with a proposed divine intellect. Among its principal purposes are the study of the effects of perceptions, beliefs, and intentions on human consciousness."

If that sounded too technical..here is more explanation-
The theory of noetics centers around the idea that the human mind is capable of affecting work or events or even doing work in the physical world. It is suggested that thought and spirit are not, in fact, imaginary, but are Bose or photon based, meaning essentially that the mind can be quantified by formulae which describe quantum materials such as light. This is a radical conclusion, as many people consider thoughts to be weightless. Noetic theory claims that just as gravity affects all matter, thoughts do as well, although to a lesser degree. Psychokinesis, more often called telekinesis, is concerned with the direct influence of mind on matter.

So it basically means that thoughts have mass however less and a congregation of similar thoughts can bring about physical changes. Thus thoughts are extremely powerful!!.
But this is not all.The most surprising thing is that from the modern physics branches out quantum physics, then particles etc that  ultimately link with noetic science which is nothing but what our ancient books say(roughly)!!(Don't ask me how as I am also in confusion. Google it out or read the book.).It is like coming in a full circle.

 Noetic sciences have 3 branches-
1.Extended Human capacities
like creativity, meditation.states of consciousness, death dying and beyond.
2.Integral Health and healing
mind body medicine, global medicine(Guess reiki falls in here)
3.Emerging world views
like indigenous practices, cultivating spiritual awareness etc.
There is even an institute for this and researches have been conducted all over for actual proof of certain things like meditation can heal diseases, about the positive energy (aura) around you etc.

However the best thing that caught my attention was the question 'Does Human soul exist?"
An experiment is performed to "weigh the Human soul" the details of which are a tad bit technical but the structure is as follows...

A dying man is placed in an incubator sort of thing that can measure weight up to micro scale.the total contents of the incubator remain the same. But it was seen that as soon as he died, there was a noticeable decrease in weight!
So does that mean soul has weight and it escapes as soon as the person dies??will it find another body for itself??does it exist first of all??all sorts of questions are raised, conclusions are also made that soul exists by some, but some oppose it vehemently!A very interesting opposition  is here...http://www.noeticsciences.co.uk/in-response-to-weighing-the-human-soul/#more-819

I used to argue a lot with my mother about the ancient philosophy because to accept something without proof seemed non scientific. But here I find proofs which are still under battle!

It makes me wonder ....should I call it "Noetic Science" or "Noetic Pseudo- Science"???

That Ideal Student

Life is a long learning process and so we all remain students..forever!But in this journey we meet people..of our kind,of not our kind nonetheless, we remember them.Whether we like it or not,to some extent our journey is always influenced by fellow travellers.
So who is considered a perfect student? What are the qualities??The reply would depend on who you are....

PARENT:

Phew!!Ideal students no more exist. Our times were glorious! We didn't waste our time roaming around like this.If we had to achieve something then we would work very hard for it.Ideal students are those who are obedient.Yes its difficult even to make our own children listen to us, we can Imagine the plight of poor teachers. If I had my way then I would make my son/ daughter realise their responsibilities.Study and work very hard!go to college, attain knowledge, discuss with teachers, friends, lecturers, visit libraries often and come straight back home!
NO bunking classes,Roaming aimlessly and spending money without the need!!

TEACHER:
Those who are serious about what they want in life and are sincere are Ideal students.I have no clue whether I will ever get to teach such a student.Teachers should be respected. They should know how difficult it is to teach. We are here to guide them.If our guidance is taken, they can do wonders in life.He/She shouldn't bunk classes, must submit assignment on time etc etc. After all we want nothing but their well being!

'A' GRADE STUDENT:

An Ideal student scores high marks.He/she never wastes time and is always doing something related to studies. No pending work for the best grades.Completely competitive and tries to top.OK..no more..I have to study now!Bye!

'AVERAGE' STUDENT:
Oh C'mon!!Gimme a break!!Are nerds ideal students??Well I don't want to be one. When will we enjoy life if we immerse ourselves into books???This will go on forever! So does that mean we must struggle all the time??Who said we are  not serious about what we wanna be!And not bunking? You mean to say we gotta sit in those dreary classes where lecturers go on and on without any interaction? Why will we attend it when we find it boring?Plus its considered so uncool to study all the time. What will my friends think of me?The last thing i want  is to be labelled as 'geek'.History has proved that we are as successful as our 'A" grade counterparts. If we are getting everything what we want then why is everyone complaining? Its my life and I will live it my way!I don't give a damn about expectations.I will end up with what is destined for me!So why the fuss??

Well..you might agree on some views and disagree on the others. If you look beyond the stereotypes you will find that anything so idealistic doesn't exist and something close would be an optimum blend of it all.

Final say..You know what you are,who you are and what is the best for you!Even without perfection things can be achieved while striving for perfection!!So shall we chuck the 'idealism'??

A Comeback!!

Well...I left my blog unattended for quite a lot of time even without notification!I have to take the complete blame because it was my own so called 'business' and carelessness. So much that I wasn't even able to login at the first attempt!!True..the blog wasn't all that successful but it was not fair on my part.Nobody abandons a baby just because he or she is not so good!So my apologies!!..SORRY RANDOM!!

So what made me do it again???Guilty conscience perhaps??No!!I'll give you the reason...EXAMS!!

There is a somehow always a connection between exams and blogs! In my case most of the material for blog comes to me only when I'm supposed to be slogging !!

And maybe also owing to the fact that my life took a complete new turn with Higher studies. What with the increased workload and competition its hard to concentrate while trying to adjust.I took solace in micro blogging!!(i. e updating status messages on facebook) But at the end of it all I realized that life is completely worthless if we are all the time worried about our GPAs and 'future'.Then I decided that if i could spent a lot of time checking on what others are doing on facebook(I admit its embarrassing! But this is what most of us do!)I can as well gather my thoughts and get some new ideas from the rest of you!!

Now is the time for some slowdown. Some time to pour out thoughts to the blog and share it with the rest of you!And to comment, discuss, criticize and take life in its stride!!As and when it comes!

Hope this spirit stays for long with me!!

Welcome back all!!(Including me!!)
